Asset Management:
Asset Management Document Set1. General
This document contains the legally required disclosures of Estably Vermögensverwaltung AG (Estably) pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR) and, where applicable, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2020/852 (Taxonomy Regulation).
Estably is an asset management company domiciled in Liechtenstein and licensed by the Financial Market Authority Liechtenstein. In the course of its activities, Estably provides asset management services to clients.
Estably offers various asset management strategies. These generally pursue a long-term investment horizon and can, depending on their design, be based on the principles of modern value investing, carefully selected funds, and tangible assets such as physical gold and silver. Where necessary, a distinction is made between the different offerings in the following explanations.
Estably generally classifies the asset management services offered as financial products under Article 6 SFDR. Estably currently does not promote ecological or social characteristics within the meaning of Article 8 SFDR and does not pursue sustainable investment objectives within the meaning of Article 9 SFDR.
This document is provided to interested parties as pre-contractual information during the contract initiation process. As the content of this document may be adjusted from time to time, particularly to meet legal or supervisory requirements, the current version is authoritative. This can be accessed via Estably's website.
2. Handling of Sustainability Risks (Art. 3 SFDR)
Sustainability risks are events or conditions from the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas, the occurrence of which can actually or potentially have significant negative effects on the value of investments. Sustainability risks can affect all known types of risk, such as general price risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, or currency risk, and contribute to the materiality of these risks.
Estably considers sustainability risks only insofar as they may appear financially material within the scope of the general risk analysis. An independent sustainability or ESG strategy is not currently pursued; a systematic or conclusive assessment of all ESG factors is not carried out.
Due to the data situation and the different methodologies on the market, it cannot be ruled out that sustainability risks are not fully identified. Sustainability risks can negatively affect the performance of investments.
3. Statement on the Non-Consideration of Adverse Impacts on Sustainability Factors (Art. 4 SFDR)
Estably currently does not consider adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors (Principal Adverse Impacts, PAI) within the meaning of Article 4 SFDR.
This decision is based in particular on the limited availability and comparability of relevant data, the heterogeneous data quality among different issuers and asset classes, and the scope and nature of the asset management services provided by Estably.
Estably regularly reviews this decision and reserves the right to adapt its approach in the event of changes in data or legal circumstances.
4. Transparency of the Remuneration Policy in Connection with the Consideration of Sustainability Risks
Estably's remuneration policy is designed to support sound and effective risk management. Insofar as sustainability risks are considered financially material within the general risk analysis, the remuneration policy is consistent with the consideration of such risks.
The remuneration policy does not create incentives to ignore sustainability risks or to take on inappropriately high risks. Details of the remuneration policy can be found in the relevant internal regulations.
5. Product-Related Disclosure for Asset Management (Article 6 SFDR)
The asset management services provided by Estably are classified as financial products according to Article 6 SFDR. Investment decisions are primarily based on classic financial criteria such as risk and return, liquidity, diversification, quality, valuation, and suitability for the respective strategy.
Sustainability risks, insofar as they are identified as financially material, can be incorporated into the general risk and opportunity assessment. However, Estably does not pursue a sustainable investment strategy with these services and does not promote ecological or social characteristics. It should be noted that sustainability risks can negatively affect the value of an investment.
6. Taxonomy Regulation (EU) 2020/852 – Note for Article 6 Products
Since Estably does not offer or promote financial products that promote ecological or social characteristics (Article 8 SFDR) or aim for sustainable investments (Article 9 SFDR), the taxonomy-related product disclosure requirements under Article 5 or Article 6 of the Taxonomy Regulation are not applicable.
For Article 6 financial products, the following note applies in accordance with Article 7 of the Taxonomy Regulation:
The investments underlying this financial product do not consider the EU criteria for environmentally sustainable economic activities.
7. Update
This disclosure will be updated as needed and in the event of significant regulatory changes.
