How the sustainability rating is arrived at<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe ESG rating was created to evaluate companies in terms of their sustainability efforts.\u00a0 In MSCI’s rating, the most relevant ESG risks are determined individually for each company from 35 core topics.\r\n\r\nThe concept of sustainability not only encompasses environmental aspects but also includes the focus on “social” aspects. and “corporate governance”. Those who fulfill the criteria in the best possible way are awarded the top rating AAA – similar to a credit rating.\r\n\r\nMSCI does not limit itself to the mandatory and voluntary information provided by companies when determining the rating. Alternative data” accounts for 45% of the rating.
